New foundation to distribute $1bn in aging research
Alex Zhavoronkov is a Visionary Board Member and expert in AI powered drug discovery. He said, \”The Foundation created a unique transparent mechanism to boost early longevity research around the world and ensure mass public participation in decisions.\” This approach allows us to finally speak about mass adoption of longevity treatments and ideas.
Age is the biggest risk factor in nearly all major causes of death and disability. The Foundation will play a key role in fulfilling the promise of 21st-century medicine by therapeutically targeting biological ageing. Matt Kaeberlein is CEO of the American Aging Association, and a Professor at the University of Washington where he heads several major initiatives.
In five years healthy longevity will be more than a concept that has been proven in the lab. It will be a part of every person’s daily life, said Andrea Maier. She is a member of the Visionary Board and the co-director of Centre for Healthy Longevity, at the National University of Singapore.
