Dr. Sarah Constantin, The Longevity Research Institute
We have an interview today with the Longevity Research Institute. This new group is set to launch this April 2018. The Institute’s goal is to identify therapies which can extend the healthy lifespan of humans by at least 2030.
Looking for longevity
It has been shown that dozens of compounds or therapies can increase the life expectancy of mammals. Recent studies have shown that animals can be rejuvenated using various approaches. These include partial cellular regeneration, stem cell therapy and removal of senescent cells. In many of these experiments, age-related illnesses were delayed or reversed.
