Aging Reversed: Scientists Successfully Extend Lifespan of Mice Through Gene Reprogramming

Scientists have reprogrammed the genes of mice to make them live longer. It worked!
It’s time to restore your youth and reverse the ageing process.

Scientists from Rejuvenate, a biotech company based in San Diego, claim that they have reprogrammed the genes of mice to increase their age. They think their gene therapy works as a reverse-aging technique, which could one day be used to rejuvenate humans.

After the introduction of these genes, their lifespan increased by approximately seven percent.

Researchers introduced three reprogramming gene into mice with a life expectancy of around nine weeks. It is interesting to note that the mice survived 18 weeks following the gene therapy. Before the gene therapy, the mice tested were similar to 77-year old humans.
