AI privacy problems demand our attention: Big tech is warning us

Big Tech has already warned us about AI privacy issues

If you pay attention.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple has limited the use of Microsoft’s Copilot and OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

Not only Apple but also Samsung, Verizon, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo and JPMorgan are involved in the tech industry. ChatGPT’s policy on privacy states that your prompts may be used to train models, unless you opt-out. This fear is not unfounded. In March, a ChatGPT bug revealed the data of other users.

Apple has banned OpenAI, as have Samsung, Verizon and many banks. Should we be worried about the way our data is being used?
