Local language data is crucial for AI tool development
Ganesh Gnani, CEO and founder of AI startup Gnani.ai said during a panel at the Mint Digital Innovation Summit & Awards, on Friday, that local language data can help automated systems understand users and respond in their native language. This will allow businesses to reach their target audience more effectively.
Gopalan said that if the system cannot function and reach the intended audience, it will not work.
Vivekanand Panti, co-founder of Reverie Language Technologies and a panelist, also spoke at the event. He agreed that data availability is essential for developing AI tools in any language.
