Andrew Ng, a Google Brain employee, became famous when he demonstrated how deep learning can recognize cats with an uncanny accuracy and speed. He founded Coursera where his machine-learning courses attracted more than 5 million students.
Ng’s views on data-centric AI are most well known today. He believes that to improve AI performance, we need to focus more on datasets than on improving neural network models. LandingLens, the flagship product of Landing AI, is based on this philosophy.
