Anti-Aging with a Double-Edged Sword: How our Cells and Molecules Aging

A biologist who studies the way your cells and molecules get tired as you age says that anti-aging is a \”double-edged blade.\”

Many different definitions exist, but most scientists agree on some features. Aging is a process dependent on time that increases vulnerability to injury, disease and death. The process of aging is intrinsic and extrinsic. It can be caused by your body, which creates new problems, or external factors that damage your tissues.

Each cell in your body performs a variety of functions, including keeping you alive. The cells are responsible for metabolizing food, eliminating waste, exchanging messages with other cells, and adapting to stressful situations.

It is possible for your cells to be damaged or disrupted in every process. Your cells are constantly working to prevent, recognize and fix these problems.
