APT41 hackers target Android users with WyrmSpy and DragonEgg malware
Lookout researchers have discovered two new spyware strains that are being used by the Chinese-backed APT41 hacking collective to target Android devices. These strains were named WyrmSpy (by Lookout) and DragonEgg (by Lookout).
APT41, one of the oldest hacker groups, has a long history of attacking various industries across the USA, Asia and Europe.
Cyber-espionage is known to be conducted by them against entities in various industries, such as software development, hardware manufacture, think tanks and universities.
