Artificial intelligence can unlock the secrets of longevity medicine

Longevity Medicine : Scientists develop framework to apply AI in extending lifespan

Scientists have been trying to find formulas that will extend the life of humans for centuries. Scientists are still working to extend the life expectancy of humans. Despite medical and scientific advancements pushing it to 71 worldwide years, they want to know if there is a way to increase this. A group of scientists are now using artificial intelligence (AI), to combine conventional medicine in order to treat and prevent diseases, to extend lifespan.

Scientists have relied on conventional medicine to effectively treat disease and extend life expectancy. It has its limitations. It can detect early signs of a disease, but it is not as effective at treating it. Combining AI, medicine and fundamental research could change the way we look at extending life. The scientists, Alex Zhavoronkov Evelyne Bischof, and Kai-Fu Lee, proposed a framework dubbed Longevity Medicine. Their article was published by the journal Nature Aging.

Dr Zhavoronkov, a computer scientist and biophysicist with a PhD in his name, is an expert in the field of biophysics. Bischof, a Swiss doctor and practicing physician, is a researcher in aging and gerooncology. Lee is well-known for his expertise in AI.

Scientists have proposed a framework based on artificial intelligence that can analyze millions parameters and fight aging.
