U.S. Transhumanist Party Virtual Enlightenment Salon With Aubrey de Grey

The U.S. Transhumanist Party will invite Dr. Aubrey de Grey, of the SENS Research Foundation to an in-depth discussion on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 1 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time. This conversation will focus on recent developments in the fight against biological aging. The conversation will include current research in rejuvenation and advocacy. It will also explore how the prospects of reaching longevity escape velocity has changed since Dr. de Grey’s remarks made at the U.S. Transhumanist Party Discussion Panel on Life Extension in 2017.
Dr. Aubrey de Grey is the biomedical gerontologist who researched the idea for and founded SENS Research Foundation — http://www.sens.org/. He earned his BA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and his Ph.D., in Biology, in 2000. Dr. de Grey serves as Editor-in Chief of Rejuvenation, Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America, the American Aging Association and on numerous editorial and scientific boards.
