BacterAI: A new AI system allows robots to perform 10,000 scientific experiments per day
BacterAI, powered by artificial intelligence, accurately predicts 90% of the amino acid combinations required for growth.
A group of scientists created a system that uses artificial intelligence (AI), allowing robots to perform up to 10,000 independent scientific experiments in one day.
BacterAI is an AI system that could accelerate discovery in fields like medicine, agriculture and environmental science. In a study published in Nature Microbiology recently, the team used BacterAI successfully to map the metabolism of two microbes that are linked to oral health.
