Butlr Technologies Secures Seed Funding of $7.9M for People-Sensing Technology

Butlr Technologies, a developer of anonymous people sensors and a $7.9M seed funding, has inked a $7.9M round.

Butlr Technologies has raised $7.9million in a seed round to expand its ability to use real-time, people-sensing technologies beyond retail and commercial real estate to monitor seniors’ falls and movements.

Hyperplane was the winner of this round. Also participating were Founder Collective and Union Labs.

The funding comes a year after Burlingame-based proptech raised $1.2 in convertible notes. This is included in $7.9 in total. It is creating a platform with Heatic sensors to anonymously detect body heat and determine occupancy, headcount, and activity.
