According to a recent study in JAMA Internal Medicine, ChatGPT is superior to physicians when it comes quality and empathy in responding online. The study compared ChatGPT to physicians’ performance in answering questions posted on Reddit’s AskDocs forum.
Chatbot responses outperformed physician responses in a cross-sectional survey of 195 randomly chosen questions. ChatGPT scored significantly higher for quality and empathy.
