A clinical trial shows promising results for age-related macular degeneration
Researchers from the USC Roski Eye Institute have demonstrated, in collaboration other institutions in California that a stem cell-based implant for the retina could help those with age-related dry macular degeneration.
Science Translational Medicine has published the results of the researchers’ phase 1/2a study [1].
