The brain will age slower if you take multivitamins but not cocoa
New research shows that taking a multivitamin daily for three years can slow cognitive aging by 60%. The effects are more pronounced among patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD).
The COSMOS-Mind Study also tested the effects of cocoa flavonols on cognition. However, it showed no positive effect.
Researchers Laura D. Baker PhD, Professor, Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem North Carolina, said that the results could have \”important public health implications\” for brain health.
