Confined Spaces Unlock the Potential: Mature cells Reprogrammed Into Deployable stem Cells without Genetic Modification

Researchers confine mature cell to convert them into stem cells

Recently, Professor G.V. Shivashankar of Mechanobiology Institute at National University of Singapore and the FIRC institute of Molecular Oncology in Italy has discovered that mature stem cells can be reprogrammed without genetic modification by confining the cells to a defined space for a long period of time.

\”Our breakthrough discoveries will usher in new stem cell technologies for tissue-engineering and regenerative medicines that may overcome negative effects of geonomic manipulating,\” said Prof Shivashankar.
