One of the greatest anti-aging researchers in the world continues to make groundbreaking discoveries. On the photo with Dr David Sinclair is a guy who looks a lot like my friend Dr Yuancheng Ryan Lu. Is it you? Dr Lu confirmed that it is him on the right. (Dr Sinclair is to the left.
What will they come up with next?
David Sinclair, a Harvard scientist, is one of Longevity’s biggest players. Life Biosciences LLC, a company that raised $50M in Series-B financing a year ago, is now seeking $100M for its antiaging research.
Longevity. Life Biosciences’ Series B goal was originally $25M, but it has now been doubled. NAD, which is a leader in the anti-aging supplements market, wants to expand. It has a number of subsidiaries that fall under the Longevity umbrella. We will keep an eye on the progress of the proposed clinical trials even though NAD is not divulging any information.
Life Biosciences was valued at $500M last year. It is based on Sinclair’s experience as codirector of the Paul F Glenn Center of Biology of Aging, genetics professor at Harvard University, and founder of Arc Bio Genocea, and Ovascience.
