Aubrey de Grey: Clinical Trials within Five Years
In November, Dr. Aubrey de Grey was in Spain for the Longevity World Forum, in Valencia. He gave a press briefing organized by Jose Luis Cordeiro, an MIT engineer.

In Madrid and Valencia Dr. de Grey confirmed for Tendencias21 that one of his most notable statements from 2018 was: \”In the near future, many different medicines will reverse aging.\” In five years we will see many of these medicines in early clinical trials.
The Longevity World Forum in Europe is a conference on longevity and genetics. The International Longevity and Cryopreservation Summit was the first Spanish congress, held in Madrid at the CSIC headquarters, in May 2017. Dr. de Grey attended that event. His presentation in Valencia was well received, and Dr. de Grey told the audience there that aging would be treated as a serious medical issue within a few years. The root causes of aging, rather than treating the symptoms with the model of infectious diseases, will be treated.
