Elon Musk, the billionaire Elon Musk, said that he would sell Tesla stock to the UN and donate the proceeds of the sale if they could prove that a small percentage of his wealth can save tens or millions of lives.

Musk responded to David Beasley’s comments, the director of UN’s World Food Programme. Beasley said on CNN’s \”Connect The World\” that a donation from billionaires like Musk and Jeff Bezos, could help 42,000,000 people, saying they \”literally would die if we didn’t reach them.\”

Musk, the richest person on earth, recently became the first person to ever have a net worth estimated at more than $300 billion.
