Robot takes podium as orchestra conductor in South Korea
EveR 6 was the android robot that took to the podium at the National Orchestra of South Korea in Seoul, Friday evening. This was the first time such a thing had been done in the country.
The robot with two arms, created by the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), made its debut in the National Theater of Korea. It was accompanied by musicians from the national orchestra of the country.
The robot with its humanoid-like face first bowed at the audience before it began waving its hands to control the pace of the live performance.
