Vera Gorbunova is a Professor of Biology and co-director of Rochester Aging Research Center at the University of Rochester. She discusses our current understanding of mechanisms that underlie the longevity and genome stabilization of mammals who live exceptionally long lives, and how we can use this knowledge to develop therapies to prolong healthy human life.
