Silicon Valley wants to \”cure\” Aging… what if they do?
I love to read. It’s so much that I think it is affecting my social life negatively, but let’s save that discussion for another day… The point is I read A LOT. Since 2007, I have been reading only one type of fiction: Science Fiction. From apocalyptic events and space operas to robot rebellions and galaxy-spanning adventures, I love it all.
The best sci-fi authors are able to not only predict how technology will progress but also how humanity may evolve. It’s surprising that a genre centered on science and technology is so human.
When I read a headline such as Meet Altos Labs – Silicon Valley’s latest wild bet on living forever, I am really excited. It’s like living in the future. It’s hard to keep up with the rate of scientific progress over the last 50 years. Then CRISPR and private space travel. Now immortality? It’s insane. It’s absolutely terrifying. It’s absolutely terrifying.
