Each society has its own myths of eternal life. For example, the Chinese have Shangri-La and the Spaniards have the Fountain of Youth. This myth could become reality for transhumanists.
Jennifer Huberman, a professor of cultural anthropology at UMKC, has recently focused her research on the emerging high-tech societies. Huberman didn’t set out to research transhumanists at first.
