A new study suggests that stem cells derived from human urine could have several benefits.
Researchers at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine in North Carolina are researching the power of cells that have regenerative effects. Researchers at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM) in North Carolina were the first researchers to discover that stem cells found in urine could have tissue-regenerating effects. They are now continuing their research.
Researchers have conducted a study to determine how the activity of telomerase affects stem cells from human urine as well as other stem cell types. This study was published in Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology.
