Scientists studied naked-mole rats in order to prevent cancer and aging
Researchers could learn from a study of naked mole rats how to better prevent and treat human diseases.
Scientists at the University of Cambridge have conducted a new study that shows naked mole rats are not only able to age well, but also very rarely develop cancer and they’re numb to acids.
According to a press release from the institution, the team hopes to use these insights to develop better treatments for human diseases and inflammatory conditions like arthritis.
