Thought experiments are a great way to understand abstract ideas, especially those that we accept at face value. They can be like proofs-by-contradiction in some cases. This is because they show us that if certain ideas were true, then they would clash with other ideas that are accepted as unavoidable principles. We’re going try something similar today.
Crossing into another dimension
Many long-time rejuvenation advocates have had to deal with people who claim that aging is good because it could help prevent overpopulation and cultural stagnation. It may also be a way to stop \”immortal dictators\” from rising, or simply get bored by living too long. I was told by a friend who is a steadfast advocate and doesn’t hesitate to bring up the topic whenever possible that a man once dismissed rejuvenation by saying \”Come on, it’s okay to have a little death.\”
