With the advancement of technology, there are many opportunities to extend human life.

Is there a limit on how long we can live as humans? A new study published in Science today (June 28, 2014) says that the answer is no. Researchers also claim that the risk of death each year after age 105 is the same.

Benjamin Gompertz, a British actuary, proposed in 1825 that the death risk exponentially increases with age. This means that someone at 70 years old would have a higher mortality risk than a 30 year-old. [Extending life: 7 ways to live past 100].
