Exploring the Potential for NMN to Improve Mice Longevity

Can NMN increase longevity?
We are pleased to announce today that we have launched on Lifespan.io a new crowd-funding campaign: The NAD+ Mouse Project, by Dr. David Sinclair at Harvard Medical School and his team.

This is the first long-term study on mice that involves supplementation with NMN. NMN is a precursor to NAD+ metabolism and has been shown in previous studies to decrease aging markers while increasing sirtuin. We propose to conduct a study on longevity using NMN as a component of the drinking water for wild-type mice. We propose to test NMN in a novel model for accelerated aging known as ICE (Induced changes in epigenome) mice.
