The current experiment costs 3 million dollars.
The plan is to have another in October, but the funding has not been approved yet.
The October round has not been nailed yet, but they want to do a plasma exchange and cellular reprograming.
The organs will be directly assessed by killing some of the mice currently used in the experiments.
This video features Dr. de Grey discussing the Robust Mice Rejuvenation Program, a flagship study run by the LEV Foundation. The program will combine interventions both individually and together in order to increase the mouse’s median and maximum life expectancy by an additional year (30-40%).
