Human Solvers Help Cybercriminals Beat Security with CAPTCHA-Breaking Service
Researchers in cyber security warn about CAPTCHA-breaking service being sold to bypass systems that distinguish between legitimate users and bot traffic.
In a report released last week, Trend Micro stated that \”because cybercriminals are keen to break CAPTCHAs correctly, several services have been created primarily for this market demand.\”
These CAPTCHA solving services do not use advanced machine learning or [optical character Recognition] methods. Instead, they farm out CAPTCHA breaking tasks to human solvers.
