A transformer-based clock that provides insight into aging
Insilico Medicine, a company that is in the clinical stage of generative AI-driven drugs discovery, has published today a paper about a multimodal transformer-based clock for aging. The clock can process diverse data sets, provide insights into biomarkers, map them to genes related to aging or disease, and discover new therapeutic targets.
Insilico has named the aging clock Precious1GPT in reference to the powerful “One Ring” in Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. The findings were published in the journal Aging.
Longevity. Insilico is at the forefront of generative AI research and aging studies, and has published biomarkers for aging using bioinformatics technology since 2014. The company then trained DNNs on \”multi-omics data\” and retrained on diseases in order to develop end-to-end Pharma. AI platform for drug design and clinical trial predictions, target discovery, and drug design.
