We are pleased to announce that Dr
Judith Campisi will be a keynote speaker at the 2019 Undoing Aging Conference.
Dr. Judith Campisi, at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, established a program to better understand the relationship between aging-related diseases and aging.
Judith Campisi states: \”Aging Research has entered a new era with unprecedented hope in interventions that can delay, prevent and, sometimes, reverse much functional decline, which is a hallmark to aging. It is clear that there are still many research projects to be completed! \”I am thrilled to be one of the speakers at Undoing Aging 2019 where I will talk about the opportunities and challenges from our recent research.\”
\”Judy is a leading figure in the field senescent cell research for many decades. She pioneered ideas such as the notion that senescent cellular senescence can be toxic to the environment, and she discovered that senescence plays a positive physiological role in healing wounds. Aubrey de Grey says that she was one of the very first senior gerontologists who appreciated the SENS approach in 2000. Her support of it and ours ever since helped it to achieve the mainstream status which it enjoys.
