G7 leaders demand standards for AI to be ‘trustworthy.’
Leaders of the Group of Seven nations (G7) made public appeals on Saturday for the adoption of technical standards that will keep artificial intelligence (AI), \”trustworthy.\”
According to a Financial Post report published on Saturday, this is the case.
In a joint statement, the leaders of the U.S.A., Japan. Germany, Britain. France, Italy, Canada, and the EU stated that, while \”the common vision and goals for trustworthy AI\” may differ, the rules governing digital technologies such as AI \”should be in line with our democratic values.\”
