Maximizing yields with Sea of Green (SOG): Growing cannabis with SOG

This robot can pick 66% more strawberries per day than an employee working 8 hours.

Two harvesting robots pick raspberries in Portugal to demonstrate the power of technology to combat seasonal labor shortages.

Sea of Green marijuana growing is a method that produces many small plants in close proximity on a square meter of surface. This method allows plants to spend less time in their vegetative stage, while creating more buds per volume. The SOG stage allows buds to mature more quickly, which results in a higher yield.

In SOG, clones tend to be used. It ensures that the plants will all have the same growth characteristics (height and speed). Your SOG will grow to have an even canopy. It is possible to grow weed for sale, but only the seeds of that strain should be used. If possible, avoid tall and lanky Sativa. Keep your plants at the exact same height under your grow lights for consistent growth.

How many plants per square foot can SOG grow?

The number of plants that SOG will be able to grow per square foot is determined by the size of your growing area. Then you can decide how many plants and what size container you need. Experts recommend growing one or two plants per square foot. One SOG plant per sq. foot is equal to 10-11 plants per sq. meter (1 sq. meter = approximately 10.75 sq. feet). Avoid using pots that are less than 3 litres in size.
