Microsoft has announced today a major update to its artificial intelligence search tools. The new version includes visual and multimodal searching, persistent chat, as well other features. These updates expand Bing’s capabilities and Edge’s web browser.
In the past three months, only a select group of users were able to try out the AI search capabilities in a limited preview. The company announced today that Bing and Edge will now be available as an open preview. Anyone can test out the new tools if they sign in using a Microsoft Account. Microsoft’s move indicates that it believes its new features are ready to be used and given feedback.
