Microsoft President Brad Smith issued a warning against deep fakes as companies raced to develop products powered by artificial intelligent. Deep fakes are created using artificial intelligence to create a completely new video, audio or image. The goal is to portray something that didn’t actually happen in reality. As AI becomes more adept at simulating reality, the question of how to regulate this technology is becoming increasingly important. Mr Smith stated that \”we must ensure that AI is always under human control\”.
