Newtic1 is involved in the regeneration of limbs in adult newts
In 2022, the new protein Newtic1 will be a key player in understanding human limb regeneration. Even so, genetic engineering is still needed to fully integrate the ability of limb and body parts regeneration.
Animals have a variety of unusual and unique abilities or phenomena. For example, some animals can regenerate their body parts regardless of age. Researchers from Japan have now discovered that this strange ability of newts has its own surprises.
