Mr. Super oversees data-driven initiatives, meaningful policy research and global convenings. He also provides strategic direction to CFA’s two main focus areas: Financial Wellness and Healthy Longevity.
The Alliance to Improve Dementia Care, which will be launched in 2020, aims to improve and transform the complex health care and long-term services that people living with dementia and at risk of developing dementia must navigate.
Ms. Super is a thought leader and prolific author on the topic of healthy longevity, as well as the economic and social impacts of global population ageing. She studied political science at Tulane University. She authored two major studies in 2019: \”Reducing Cost and Risk of Dementia : Recommendations for Improving Brain Health and Decreased Disparities,\” and \”Age Forward Cities for 2030.\”
Ms. Super has held a number of key leadership positions in both the public and private sector before joining the Milken Institute. In 2014, President Barack Obama named Ms.Super Executive Director of White House Conference on Aging. She received wide recognition for improving the lives of older Americans across the country. In 2015, PBS Next Avenue named Ms. Super one of America’s 50 top \”Influencers on Aging\”. She was also awarded the Medicare Rights Center Honoree Award for Outstanding Service by Medicare Beneficiaries.
Ms. Super also has held leadership positions at the US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), AARP and Kaiser Permanente. She is a member of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging.
Ms. Super is a member of several boards including the Long-Term Quality Alliance and the Brain Health Partnership Advisory Board. She also serves on the Brookings Institution and Kellogg School of Management Retirement Security Advisory Board.
