Rapamycin fights gum disease and spurs bone growth in older mice
Rapamycin is a drug which extends the life of mice and possibly humans. It also reverses dental problems associated with ageing in mice. Researchers at The University of Washington School of Dentistry & JAX’s Kaczorowski Lab have published a new study in eLife.
Rapamycin reverses dental problems, such as periodontitis, and regenerates bones in animals.
