Can Revitalizing Old Blood Reduce Aging?
Recent findings published by Passegue’s lab in Nature Cell Biology (link is external, opens in new window) suggest that it may be possible to rejuvenate the blood of an older person.
Passegue and her graduate student Carl Mitchell found that a drug already approved for rheumatoid arthritis can reverse time in mice, and reverse some effects of aging on the hematopoietic systems.
