The FDA has approved new eyedrops that could improve close-up vision
Dec. 14, 2020 — A new FDA approved eyedrop medicine that could replace reading glasses by millions of Americans with age-related blurry sight.
Vuity was approved by FDA in October, and it went on sale last week. The new medicine starts working within 15 minutes and gives you sharper vision between 6-10 hours.
Vuity, the first FDA approved eyedrop for the treatment of presbyopia (which affects people over 40), is the only FDA-approved product to treat this condition. The prescription drug works by using the eye’s ability to shrink its pupil.
