The graphene sensor can help you control robots by using your mind
Researchers in Australia have developed a sensor using the \”wonder-material\” graphene that allows anyone to control robots with their mind.
Francesca Iacopi, co-developer, said that the hands-free and voice-free technology can be used anywhere, at any time, outside of a laboratory setting. It makes interfaces like consoles, keyboards and touchscreens redundant.
Brain-computer interfaces are systems that convert brain activity into commands to machines. They’re usually used for medical purposes. One can control a prosthetic limb with the mind of a person who has lost a limb. A person who is paralyzed could also use it to \”type\” on a screen by simply thinking about words.
