Dr. John Cooke, department chair of cardiovascular science at Houston Methodist Research Institute, is the author of the recent article published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Cooke and his team used RNA to lengthen telomeres in patients’ cells. This made them younger. The lead author of the report made the following comments in a video statement that accompanied the report:

We can make old cells younger.
