Robotic fish powered by fake blood: the future of soft robots

This robotic fish is alive with fake blood

Researchers have created a robotic lionfish that has synthetic arteries similar to the ones found in the circulatory system of humans. The \”blood\” of the fish that flows through it powers and controls the robot. The findings published in Nature on Wednesday may be the catalyst for a new wave of soft robotics in which inventors are seeking to improve lifelike automated robots in order to connect with humans.

The use of synthetic blood vessels to create a lifelike robotic fish may improve the technology required to make robots last longer.
