Scientists’ breakthrough in extending health span by freezing the aging process

Scientists have figured out a way to stop the aging process

The average lifespan of humans has increased from 48 years to 71 today. Medical advancements and improved living standards are responsible for this increase. Senior citizens now make up the largest segment of the population. While our lives are extending, our health is not, according to science journalist Sue Armstrong, in her new book \”Borrowed time: The Science of How & Why We Age\”.

She quotes gerontologist Eileen Crimmins: \”In the last 50 years, the health care system has not slowed down the aging process, but rather the dying process.\”
