Scientists invent flat packable robot that makes Ikea tremble
Researchers at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Switzerland have created an origami robot that is capable of transforming into a wide variety of three-dimensional forms.
It can also be folded and unfolded like flat-pack Ikea furniture. This, say its creators, makes it a perfect candidate to assist astronauts in the cramped space of a spacecraft.
In a video, Mori3 can walk, pose, and even roll once it is bent into a circle shape.
