Scientists create synthetic electronic skin with self-healing abilities.

Scientists create self-healing skin for robots that mimics real skin

Material can self-heal within 24 hours if heated to 158degF, or after a week if left at room temperature.

Stanford Professor Zhenan BAO and his team invented a self-healing multi-layer synthetic electronic skin.

According to a Fox News report published on Friday, this is the case.

Stanford scientists invented a multilayer self-healing electronic skin. The skin can now self-recognize each other and align when damaged, allowing it to continue working while healing.
