The world’s first project to use’self-healing concrete’ to repair sewage pipes
This technology not only increases the life expectancy of concrete structures but also promotes a circular economic system.
Crown corrosion or sewer pipe corrosion occurs when sewage pipes come into contact with sulfuric acid. Corrosion occurs when the aging pipe material is exposed to sulphuric acid. In the last few years, engineers developed sewer bots that can inspect sewage pipes in places where humans are not allowed.
Professor Yan Zhuge is an expert in engineering at the University of South Australia. He has been testing a new solution.

The robots will also have to travel to areas where wireless communication is not possible. There are many obstacles.
