Solving the space debris problem
The space is becoming crowded. Space debris and old satellites are crowding low-Earth orbit. Launching new satellites increases the risk of collision. According to a recent study, the most effective solution to the space debris problem is not to deorbit or capture debris, but to have operators pay \”orbital use fees\” for each satellite placed into orbit.
