Stress and recovery: the effect on biological age

A study suggests that biological age increases with stress and is reversed upon recovery.

In a new study, both in mice and in humans, it was found that biological age can be dynamic and that stress-induced increases in age can be reversed by recovery. Cell Metab olism published the research.

How do we determine age?

The biological age of a person is not always the same as their chronological age. While chronological age measures the length of time that you’ve been alive, your biological age shows how your cells have aged over your lifetime.
